Sweet & Soft: Long John

Say "Ahoy!" to little Long John here. We're not sure if his creation was inspired by the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie being released here in Oz next week, or if it was just pure coincidence! Anyways, when not sailing the high seas or plundering loot, Long John aspires to be a Treasurer and his favourite dessert is rum balls!

Tiff has recently said that picking softie favourites can somehow jinx them at the market...but we just couldn't help it & had to name Long John as our favourite thus far! And lo & behold we jinxed him all right. While people picked him up & admired him...he just couldn't find a new home yesterday! But our fellow stallholder buddy - the lovely Ro - was very taken with Long John and told us to make sure he goes to a good home; she said if we're not sure about the character of his future guardians...to tell them that he's already spoken for!

Oh well, looks like we'll be looking after him this week. His eye is bigger than his stomach, so we told him to go easy on those rum balls...they can be quite intoxicating for a little guy like him! N
